Looks like the most realistic transfer could be a Reyes/Baptista swap deal.

Losing a player who does not want to play for us and gaining one who reluctantly will, might be the lesser of two evils.

I just don't understand people talking as if they in the gunners bank account, we have enough money to spend, whether players leave or not, if we want to buy we will. Arsene has easily £70million that he has spent over the last ten years. Arsenal made more money than any other club in the premiership last season about £50million plus, add to the money we got from our sponsors (emirate) and the money we will get from the redevelopment of Highbury. Then you know that Arsenal have a lot of money. This money does not include that we already have from previous season and other sponsors...

The fact or the truth is that Arsene does not want to spend money. Think about it! If Arsene decides to spend £30million on one player or two, what difference would that make to the amount they will paying the bank they borrowed money from. I don't think Arsene is spending because he doesn't want to waste money but because he does not want to lose great potential players like he did with Ronaldihno (who is in trouble with Barcelona now)
